Drew London is a singer/songwriter out of Atlanta Georgia who loves the craft and process of music making. From an early age Drew fixated upon music, and has carried it with him throughout life. His sound aims to be eclectic and he hopes that each track he releases can have a unique vibe. Join us as we examine his debut single “Never Coming Back”.

Much of the percussive element is thick and juicy in nature, and the bass shares the same qualities with an extra degree of warmth. A rocking bed sound blends cleverly with the structure of the beat.

The verses are decorated with light synths and doctored vocals. The vibe and atmosphere is nice, but the vocal can come off as a bit thin at times.

There’s a noticeable Kid Cudi element present in the chorus, which is indeed a catchy segment. The layered vocals of the chorus made me feel that the song’s verses could benefit from a bit of effected layering as well.

In all, “Never Coming Back” is a unified product. The album art and the contents of the song and lyric form a unified front that creates a palpable vibe. To the artist, I would suggest that he continue working on his craft, and to stay the path of a unified vibe. Thus, I award “Never Coming Back” a grade of “Aight”. Until next time.
